How does it work?

The thawing plate is made from a special alloy (non-toxic aluminium) with a thermal conductivity of 20,000 times that of ordinary metals. Simply place your frozen food onto the plate and leave it until defrosted.

How quickly does it defrost meat?

All meats defrost at different times depending on their size, but regular chicken breasts, steak, pork chops etc can defrost between 30-60 minutes - depending on their thickness.

Is it easy to clean?

The plate is easy it clean: it is dishwasher safe or can be hand-washed.

Does the plate get hot?
